Every October the Food City Corporation invites local organizations to host a Wreaths Across America Educational Campaign at Food City stores throughout our area. This year the campaign is during the fourth weekend in October and East TN Women Veterans will be at Food City Powell, located at 7530 Clinton Hwy, Powell TN that weekend. We always need volunteers for this event and not only from our membership but from the community as well! If you are or have a student that needs volunteer credit, we are a 501c3 non profit and can validate volunteer time with their school. We have lots of shifts available and will work with your schedule! Please either bring a chair or wear comfortable shoes for you shift. Dress appropriately for the weather, we will be outside. We will have water and snacks on hand for you. Snacks available will be chips, pretzels,bananas, oranges and candy. Please sign up for as many shifts as you can!
