During today’s meeting of the East TN Military Affairs Council, Joe Sutter of Honor Air Knoxville announced that the organization would host a flight for Women Veterans on September 25, 2024. Honor Air Knoxville takes veterans from East Tennessee to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built to honor their sacrifice – at no charge to the veteran. The organization hosted a hugely popular and very successful women veterans flight in October 2022. Several dozen ETWVN members were aboard the flight which carried 133 Women Veterans to Washington DC. The application process is open to all women veterans and the selection process will prioritize the oldest applicants. Applications must be printed and mailed, faxed or emailed to Honor Air Knoxville. There is not an electronic application available.
